• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings for students to evaluate their specific mental health needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions through telehealth platforms, offering crisis intervention for students experiencing a range of psychological issues, from anxiety and depression to academic stressors.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops that cover critical topics such as coping strategies, stress management, and personal development, empowering students to navigate their academic environment successfully.
• Collaborate with academic advisors, residential life staff, and student organizations to design programs that enhance student well-being and promote a comprehensive support system on campus.
• Engage in proactive outreach efforts, organizing mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events that foster a culture of support and openness regarding mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring data security and privacy.

This role will predominantly focus on college students, who often face unique pressures and mental health challenges that can impact their educational experience. You will actively address concerns common to this demographic, such as anxiety related to academic performance, relationship challenges, and transitional stressors. Your work will significantly contribute to students' overall well-being and their academic success.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the mental health concerns specifically faced by college students along with the ability to develop applicable strategies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building rapport with students and collaborating with a diverse campus community.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models that are effective in a university setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload within a fast-paced environment.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling environment, ideally within academic or educational settings.
• Familiarity with teletherapy best practices and relevant digital tools.
