• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs and develop customized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and strengths.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor progress towards achieving treatment objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with all confidentiality regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including educators and mental health professionals, to deliver cohesive care.

• Provide education and support to patients, families, and school staff regarding mental health awareness, coping strategies, and available resources.

• Engage in continued education and professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health care to enhance service delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clientele includes individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues related to school life. You will play a pivotal role in helping these youths navigate their struggles, fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being within an educational context.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, preferably in a school or educational setting.

• Strong skills in solution-focused and trauma-informed therapy methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve holistic client outcomes.

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with community resources relevant to family and child mental health.

• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
