Working in a fully remote setting, mental health counselors at Core Healing Counseling utilize advanced telehealth technology to conduct sessions that blend professionalism and compassion with patient-centered care. While this position is primarily remote, occasional flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs during peak times, including some evening hours.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to thoroughly evaluate clients’ mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions, employing crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute psychological distress.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops that focus on relevant mental health topics such as coping strategies, stress management, and emotional regulation to support holistic personal development.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including medical professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients, integrating mental health with overall wellness strategies.
• Participate in outreach programs and preventive initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns and community wellness events to advocate for improved mental health resources.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the special challenges faced by diverse populations accessing mental health services, particularly those seeking telehealth options. You will engage with clients ranging from young adults to older adults, addressing a spectrum of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.

• Must hold an active state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the unique mental health issues prevalent among patients, particularly in remote therapy settings.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models is essential for success in providing high-quality care.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing mental health services within a clinical or telehealth setting.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and familiarity with various treatment modalities will be an advantage.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
