Job Purpose and Impact

The Diamond V Strategic Marketing Specialist (Open to Remote within US) supports the development and execution of marketing strategies and annual business plans that drive growth across the Diamond V dairy and beef portfolio. In this role, you will contribute to portfolio management, commercialization, innovation initiatives, and customer-focused marketing programs while partnering closely with commercial, technical, research, regulatory, and marketing communications teams. You will apply knowledge of customer needs, market dynamics, competitive activity, and product offerings to develop marketing initiatives, resources, and programs that support business objectives and deliver customer value.


Key Accountabilities
  • Execute the Diamond V marketing strategy and annual business plans across the dairy and beef portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Manage portfolio marketing activities including product positioning, value proposition development, portfolio planning support, commercialization initiatives, and lifecycle management for assigned products and solutions.
  • Partner with commercial, technical, research, regulatory, and marketing communications teams to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive insights, and innovation opportunities that strengthen business growth and customer value.
  • Lead and support product launches, portfolio changes, innovation projects, customer programs, and other cross-functional initiatives by coordinating project plans, timelines, resources, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing and internal marketing resources, sales enablement tools, training materials, and business updates that improve market readiness and support successful execution.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Agricultural Business, Dairy Science, Animal Science, or equivalent years of professional experience
  • Minimum four years of experience in marketing strategy with a proven track record of customer focus
  • Industry experience in dairy, feed, animal nutrition, or agriculture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in dairy, beef, feed, animal nutrition, agriculture, or another business-to-business technical industry
  • Experience supporting product portfolios, commercialization, product launches, or marketing planning
  • Five or more years of relevant professional experience
Applicant Information

The expected salary for this position is $80,000 - 110,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
