Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join them. You will report to the IT Business Partner and will have a remote work schedule reporting to the Blacksburg, Virginia site.

To be considered for Senior Application Support Analyst, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP systems, or business-critical applications.

  • 2 years of experience leading projects or mentoring small teams.

  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting ERP, reporting, workflow, or business systems.

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to identify and implement application improvements.

  • Knowledge of ITIL service-management best practices, including incident, change, problem, and request management

  • Experience supporting audits, access governance, and compliance requirements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in application support, ERP administration, or business systems analysis.

  • Experience supporting Infor LN or SAP.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, SSRS, Nintex K2, IIS, or related enterprise technologies.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

As a Training Systems Manager, you will:

Be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Power & Data's critical business applications, with a primary focus on the Infor LN ERP environment and related platforms. You will ensure application availability, security, compliance, and performance while providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system improvements.

In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver application support, enhancements, manage deployments, support audit and access governance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role provides leadership and guidance to a small team of Application Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application support for Infor LN ERP, SharePoint, Nintex K2, SSRS, Power BI, web applications, and manufacturing systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; coordinate with vendors and development teams on complex incidents.

  • Manage ERP user access, security roles, job monitoring, data updates, and disaster recovery testing.

  • Partner with business users to identify and implement application enhancements and process improvements.

  • Support audit, compliance, and user access review activities.

  • Plan and execute application deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes using established change management processes.

  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.

  • Participate in application migrations, upgrades, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and user experience.

  • Perform limited platform administration and support activities as needed.

  • Lead and mentor up to three Application Analysts while balancing operational support and project delivery.
