Job Title: Sterile Processing Business Development Representative (SPD BDR)

Location: Remote

Precision Label, a Steven Label Group company headquartered in North Carolina, is hiring a remote Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Business Development Representative. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective Sterile Processing Department Managers and Supervisors to expand Precision Label's existing SPD product offerings. This is a proactive hunter role requiring a strategic thinker who excels at identifying new business opportunities, building lasting customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B sales background, is self-motivated, and thrives in a performance-driven remote environment.

SPD BDR duties and responsibilities include:

  • Prospect and qualify ne leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Research and analyze market intelligence data to support strategic sales growth initiatives.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Develop account targeting plans and product positioning strategies to maximize market opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and consultative sales presentations to communicate value and differentiate solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams including management, estimating, customer service, engineering, and operations to develop customized proposals and customer solutions.
  • Prepare, review, and submit sales agreements and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms while effectively communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
  • Create and implement processes that support business development efforts and drive the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand business opportunities and market presence.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and provide competitive intelligence to support new product development and strategic sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of B2B Sales experience required
  • Technical knowledge of labels, ribbon, or equivalent industry experience and familiarity, strongly preferred.
  • CRCST Certification required
  • IAHCSMM certification and Sterile Processing Technician or Manager experience preferred but not required
  • Proven network of existing SPD relationships required
  • Technical knowledge of the various sterilization protocols required
  • Proven success in winning new business with a track record of meeting or exceeding new business targets.
  • Strong understanding of technical sales processes and ability to navigate complex customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP & CRM tools
  • Ability to travel by car and air up to 50% of time.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driverโ€™s license is required.
