Job description

Bloom Talent is a small woman-owned boutique recruiting agency based in San Francisco that partners with clients to help find Operations, Administrative, and HR talent. We partner primarily with startups and tech companies, but also work with VC, finance firms, industry leaders, and family offices. We pride ourselves on delivering a more personalized and white-glove service. We operate in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
As a Recruiter, you will be an integral partner in managing full-cycle recruiting and building candidate and client relationships. You will spend a lot of time developing relationships to understand both your client's hiring needs and your candidate's professional goals. We provide a highly personalized experience and help them through the entire search process.
The ideal candidate should have strong relationship-building skills, be able to shift gears at a moment's notice, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, social environment. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow quickly as a Recruiter. The role requires a great attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and someone who takes initiative. You will be given a lot of autonomy and the ability to learn and grow quickly at Bloom Talent. We encourage creativity, thinking outside the box, and bringing ideas to the table. You will have a strong voice at Bloom Talent and be able to make a big impact at an early stage.
Responsibilities:
  • Connect with top talent in admin/operations/HR roles, and build a substantial network of bright and passionate candidates through sourcing and networking.
  • Effectively manage a high volume of candidates and multiple requisitions across several companies.
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience by being an excellent listener and understanding candidates' career goals and desired next steps.
  • Screen candidate resumes from job boards, job postings, and inbound.
  • Conduct interviews and assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes, and pair with appropriate client/company and role.
  • Manage the candidate and client full recruitment process, including candidate submission to the role, interviews, feedback, reference checks, and the offer process.
  • Stay informed of relevant news in the tech startup space and within the Bay Area.
  • Train and onboard new employees.
  • Provide analytical reporting from our ATS in weekly meetings.
  • Be an active, engaged member of the Bloom recruiting team.
  • Be creative alongside us to help build a unique and constantly improving brand and recruiting experience.
  • Contribute to our social channels.
  • Embody our core values and be an ambassador of Bloom Talent. Represent our company with integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Based in PST.
  • Passion for recruiting and building relationships.
  • Prior startup industry knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in recruiting, sales, or hiring is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependability, resourcefulness, confidence, and the ability to function at a high capacity with little direction or supervision.
  • Familiarity working with an ATS, GSuite, Slack, Notion, and AI tools is preferred.

This is a 100% remote full-time contract-to-hire position. Must be based in PST and be available to attend the annual team offsite.
If hired full-time after the contract period 401k, health benefits, wellness stipend, and generous profit sharing are offered.
Compensation: 100-150K+ total comp (base + commission).
