As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patient needs and formulate individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Employing therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique requirements of each client.
• Keeping precise and timely clinical records that adhere to HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with ethical standards in mental health services.
• Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow social workers to coordinate care and develop holistic treatment approaches.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement in patient care.
• Providing education, support, and resource navigation to both patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment plans.

Your role will involve working closely with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing various mental health issues as a response to their detoxification needs. The clients you will serve might range from those struggling with substance use disorders to those requiring support for co-occurring mental health conditions. Your interventions will be pivotal in helping these clients achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall well-being during critical periods of transition.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Connecticut.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building rapport with clients and colleagues.
