Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Big Leap Family Guidance Centers, you will:

  • Assist primary care providers in recognizing, treating, and managing patients' mental health and psychosocial issues, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, while providing recommendations to the primary care provider regarding treatment goals.
  • Deliver brief, evidence-based interventions to patients seeking mental health services, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.
  • Monitor patient progress and follow up to evaluate ongoing treatment efficacy, adjusting approaches as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Develop relapse prevention strategies and behavioral plans for patients, empowering them to maintain stability and improved mental health.
  • Document patient progress comprehensively in treatment charts, keeping communication channels open with primary care providers regarding patient needs and developments in their treatment plans.
  • Educate patients about self-management techniques and healthy lifestyle choices, fostering active participation in their treatment and recovery.
  • Participate in case consultations with clinic management to evaluate behavioral health services and make recommendations based on observed outcomes.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals while also executing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
