St. Mary Counseling Services PC is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This position will be remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining strong communication with clients and team members. Despite being a virtual role, our LCSW will engage daily with school personnel and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. This approach ensures that we address the complexities of mental health needs amidst the academic framework, promoting a supportive environment for our clients.

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients via telehealth, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family interventions.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients to facilitate a therapeutic alliance and promote mental wellness.
• Conduct evidence-based screenings and assessments to develop tailored care plans that address specific psychological needs.
• Coordinate with educational professionals, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support throughout their educational experience.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to enhance collaborative treatment strategies and share insights on client progress.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, assessing immediate risks and implementing appropriate responses.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and organizational protocols, maintaining a high standard of care.
• Monitor ongoing client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize efficacy.
• Document all interactions and treatment data accurately, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the agency by participating in committees tailored to enhancing service delivery.

The LCSW will primarily serve school-aged clients, many of whom are experiencing symptoms related to major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders. This includes anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. As a clinician, you will play a crucial role in destigmatizing mental health treatment, particularly in an educational context where access to support may often be limited.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with strong listening skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Competency in cultural sensitivity, allowing you to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong analytical skills with a capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving.

• At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Experience or familiarity with school systems and educational policies that pertain to mental health support.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to continued professional development.

The annual salary for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
