Job Description:

We Are Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics solutions that support portfolio governance, executive decision-making, and organizational performance. This role is responsible for transforming data from multiple enterprise systems into actionable insights through scalable data engineering, dashboard development, and automated reporting solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, data integration, business intelligence, and stakeholder collaboration, with the ability to deliver accurate, reliable, and meaningful reporting in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise dashboards, executive scorecards, and business intelligence solutions.

·         Build and support standardized portfolio reporting, performance metrics, KPIs, and executive-level analytics.

·         Develop automated reporting processes to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

·         Create recurring and ad hoc reports that support leadership, governance teams, and business stakeholders.

·         Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.

·         Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, data models, and transformation processes.

·         Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and reliability across reporting environments.

·         Analyze project, financial, operational, governance, and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

·         Perform root cause analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve organizational performance.

·         Develop predictive analytics and trend-based reporting to support proactive planning and decision-making.

·         Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for reporting and analytics solutions.

·         Translate business requirements into technical dashboards, reports, and visualization strategies.

Required Skills:

·         3–7 years of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related discipline.

·         Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions.

·         Strong experience integrating, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise systems using SQL and modern data engineering techniques.

·         Experience developing interactive dashboards, executive scorecards, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI or comparable BI platforms.

·         Advanced proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and data transformation processes.

·         Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical reporting solutions.

·         Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing trend analysis and root cause analysis.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, or Microsoft Project Online.

·         Experience supporting portfolio management, investment management, governance, or executive reporting initiatives.

·         Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other Microsoft analytics technologies.

·         Experience with enterprise data warehousing, semantic models, and business intelligence architecture.

·         Experience developing automated reporting solutions using APIs, ETL processes, scripting languages, or data integration platforms.

·         Experience working in government, public sector, or other large enterprise environments.

·         Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or PMI practices.

·         Experience with financial management, capital investment reporting, or portfolio performance analytics.

·         Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate, Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
