Job description

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented copywriter to work within our Marketing team to support multiple projects. You will report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate with the Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Product teams across initiatives and campaigns, including brand, performance marketing, social, lifecycle, and product. This role is perfect for someone who works quickly without sacrificing quality, is comfortable following brand guidelines, and enjoys contributing fresh visual ideas.

This is a remote, freelance opportunity, averaging 15-30 hours per week (there is some room for flexibility on when hours are worked). It would be preferred that the candidate be located on the West Coast in PST What You'll Do: Create compelling, effective copy for marketing projects that aligns emotional resonance with relevant business goals Produce a broad range of copy deliverables, including landing page content, emails, paid marketing and ads, in-app messaging, social copy, video scripts, and other formats as needed Collaborate with the marketing team to understand brand messaging and values Collaborate with the marketing team to understand brand messaging and valuesEstablish messaging frameworks, positioning maps, and copy templates that support marketing campaigns, product messaging, and sales enablement while informing future brand evolution Collaborate with the Art Director and graphic designers to bring concepts to life Collaborate with sales to align email and sms copy with a cohesive, compelling brand voice Interpret creative briefs to understand project requirements as the basis for your work Requirements: 3+ years of copywriting experience; nice to have within subscription, entertainment, or sports environments Knowledge of marketing principles and how to improve engagement and conversion via copywriting Proven ability to write concise, compelling, and conversion-driven copy Deep understanding of platform best practices for Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital channels. Comfort working with performance data as both a guide and inspiration for creativeExceptional attention to detail and editorial accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Nice to have: Working knowledge of SEO best practices Please include a link to your portfolio, and be sure to include examples if you have them.
