Job description

About Polymarket
Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast, both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
Sports is one of Polymarket's biggest growth vectors. We have active league partnerships and a product that maps naturally onto the sports betting and fan engagement space. What we don't yet have is someone who owns the creative layer of that entirely. This role exists to fix that.
You'll sit within the Design team as a senior individual contributor, working directly with partnership, marketing, and product leads. The mandate is straightforward: build the creative systems that let us activate against marquee sports moments fast, look legitimate doing it, and stay on the right side of league compliance. That means co-branded campaign work, in-app design, paid social, CTV, experiential, and everything in between.
This is not a support role. You'll own sports creative from brief to live, manage partner-side review cycles, and set the bar for what good looks like across the team. If you've spent time designing within the constraints of official league partnerships and you know the difference between generic sports creative and work that actually lands, this is the role.
What You'll Do
  • Lead creative across all sports and league partnership activations, including co-branded campaigns, in-app integrations, paid social, display, CTV, and event assets.
  • Build and maintain partner-ready design systems: templates, toolkits, and brand frameworks that let the team activate quickly without starting from scratch each time.
  • Own licensing compliance across all sports creative, navigating league brand guidelines, marks usage, player imagery restrictions, and co-branding rules throughout the production process.
  • Manage partner-side creative reviews and approval workflows with league and media contacts, keeping feedback loops tight without letting them slow output.
  • Brief, direct, and QA motion designers on partner creative across social and CTV, raising the quality bar across the team while staying hands-on yourself.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing to iterate on paid social creative using live data, scaling what works and cutting what doesn't.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading design for sports or league partnership activations, with a portfolio that shows real co-branded creative work at scale.
  • Hands-on experience navigating licensing and rights compliance, including league brand guidelines, marks usage, and player imagery restrictions.
  • Portfolio that spans paid social (Meta and TikTok), display, CTV, and experiential or event assets.
  • Experience directing and QA-ing creative output from other designers, not just managing your own workload.
  • A sharp point of view on sports visual identity. You know what makes sports creative feel considered versus generic, and your past work shows it.
  • Comfort moving from brief to live in fast-moving, high-visibility environments where ambiguity is the norm and timelines are real.
  • Strong communication skills for managing external partner relationships and internal cross-functional feedback cycles.
  • (Plus) Experience designing within or alongside an official major league partnership context (NFL, NBA, MLB, or equivalent).
  • (Plus) Familiarity with prediction markets, sports betting, or financial product design.
  • (Plus) Experience working with or briefing motion designers on broadcast-adjacent creative formats.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage
  • 401k match
  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
