Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Production, Operations, Technical Management, Talent, Finance, league partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, planning and coordination, and successful delivery of Premier League productions.
  • Serve as an operational liaison between the Premier League U.K. and U.S. offices, NBC Sports, NBC Sports' Monroe warehouse, vendors, venues, and other internal and external partners supporting fan engagement initiatives, activations, live events, and special projects.
  • Oversee production logistics, including crew and talent travel, accommodations, credentials, catering, shipping, facilities, and on-site operational support.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules, call sheets, production documents, and other critical planning materials throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Manage production budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, invoice processing, purchasing card reconciliation, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and accuracy.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, venue logistics, and production services to ensure operational readiness for studio and remote productions.
  • Manage freelance staffing and crewing processes, ensuring productions are appropriately resourced and aligned with company policies and applicable labor requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, planning documentation, and operational resources within shared systems to support collaboration and business continuity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and support continuous operational improvement across Premier League productions.
  • Serve as a primary escalation point for operational challenges, resolving issues quickly and effectively during live broadcasts and events.
  • Support studio and remote productions and marquee events, including Premier League match coverage, Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fests, the Premier League Summer Series, league activations, and other high-profile events and special projects.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in television production, live sports production, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end live sports production workflows, including both studio and remote productions.
  • Proven experience managing production operations, including logistics, scheduling, travel, budgets, vendor relationships, and freelance staffing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and production planning tools; experience with Smartsheet preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal financial, scheduling, and production systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Desired Characteristics

  • Passion for live sports, particularly soccer, with an appreciation for the pace, complexity, and global nature of Premier League production.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented approach when managing high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and last-minute production needs.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior leadership, on-air talent, production personnel, and operational partners.
  • Strong team player who builds trusted relationships and fosters a collaborative production environment.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and service-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Stamford, CT.
  • Must be available to work non-traditional hours, including frequent early mornings as early as 4:30 a.m., weekends, evenings, and holidays, in support of Premier League programming and live productions.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed, including occasional short-notice travel, to support live productions, special events, remote broadcasts, and on-site event operations.
