Job description

Job Title: Live Sports Card Break Host | Whatnot Live Stream Personality

Company: Mount Olympus Rips

Location: Plymouth, MN (100% On-Site)

Schedule: Evening/Night Shift | 5:30 PM-2:00 AM

Compensation: $50/hour + Tips | Top hosts run 6-8 breaks per night | Top performers earn $100,000+ annually

To Stand Out

Email tom@ontimetalent.com with a quick introduction describing your sports card knowledge, favorite products or teams, any live streaming or content creation experience, and why you'd be the perfect personality to host a live sports card break.

Be the Face of the Stream.

Anyone can rip packs.

Very few people can command a room.

At Mount Olympus Rips, we're looking for the personality everyone remembers after the stream ends—the host collectors specifically come back to watch night after night.

If you've watched We The Hobby, Backyard Breaks, Debut Sports, The Players Club, Hitman Rips, or your favorite Whatnot breaker and thought, “I'd be better on the mic,” we want to meet you.

This is an entertainment-first role. You're not simply opening boxes. You're creating a live show where your personality, sports knowledge, reactions, and ability to connect with collectors drive the experience.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • $50/hour + Tips
  • Top performers earn $100,000+ annually
  • Host 6-8 live breaks per night
  • Become a featured personality of a growing sports card brand
  • Build relationships with a loyal Whatnot audience
  • Backend team handles sorting, packing, and shipping
  • No product sourcing or personal inventory investment
  • Turn your sports card knowledge and personality into a career

What You'll Do

  • Host live sports card breaks on Whatnot
  • Engage chat, welcome buyers, answer questions, and keep the room moving
  • Create excitement around 1-of-1s, case hits, autos, RPAs, SSPs, Downtowns, Kabooms, numbered parallels, and chase cards
  • Keep conversations flowing with sports talk, hobby knowledge, storytelling, humor, and banter
  • Build relationships with repeat customers and learn what they collect
  • Stay current on NFL, NBA, MLB, rookies, prospects, new releases, and hobby trends
  • Work alongside a backend team handling fulfillment so your focus stays on the show

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine passion and knowledge of the sports card hobby
  • Strong knowledge of NFL, NBA, and MLB
  • Familiarity with sports cards, trading cards, rookies, parallels, autos, numbered cards, case hits, and Whatnot breaking
  • A natural, confident on-camera personality
  • Ability to speak and entertain for hours without losing energy
  • Someone who hates dead air and knows how to keep a conversation moving
  • Competitive, quick-thinking, charismatic, and comfortable owning the spotlight
  • Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Live, Twitch, YouTube, podcasting, broadcasting, sales, or content creation is a major plus

Why Mount Olympus Rips?

We're not trying to build another stream where someone quietly opens cards.

We're building personalities collectors look forward to watching.

You bring the sports knowledge, personality, energy, and ability to entertain. We'll provide the product, audience, studio, and backend support that allow you to focus on becoming great on camera.

The goal is simple:

When collectors open Whatnot and see your name hosting, we want them to click.

Interested?

Email tom@ontimetalent.com and tell us about your sports card knowledge, your hosting style, and why you'd be the right person to lead a live stream.

Bring the energy. Own the camera. Become the voice of the break.
