SPORTS CARD EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


Waxxed Sports Cards is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable Sports Card Breaker to host live breaks on Fanatics Live.

We're looking for someone who already knows the sports card hobby and can bring the personality to match.

You should be comfortable talking about sports, players, rookies, prospects, products, parallels, inserts, and hits while keeping a live audience entertained and engaged.

This is not an entry-level sports card position. We'll teach you how Waxxed operates, but you need to come in with existing sports card knowledge.


What You'll Do

  • Host live sports card breaks on Fanatics Live.
  • Open and present sports card products live on camera.
  • Recognize and discuss key cards, players, rookies, prospects, parallels, inserts, and hits.
  • Talk sports and current storylines naturally throughout broadcasts.
  • Engage with customers and build relationships with viewers.
  • Keep the stream entertaining, energetic, and moving.
  • Manage live interactions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Represent the Waxxed Sports brand on camera.


You Must Have

  • Previous sports card experience and knowledge of the hobby.
  • Strong professional and collegiate sports knowledge.
  • Familiarity with major sports card products and hobby terminology.
  • Confidence speaking and performing on camera.
  • An outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to think quickly and keep a conversation going.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
  • Availability Friday–Tuesday from 4:00 PM–1:00 AM.
  • Ability to work in person at our Plano, Dallas, and Denton locations.


Even Better If You Have

  • Previous breaking experience.
  • Fanatics Live or live-selling experience.
  • Live streaming/content creation experience.
  • Sales or customer service experience.
  • Bartending or hospitality experience.
  • Broadcasting, acting, public speaking, or entertainment experience.
  • Competitive athletics or coaching experience.
  • TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, or similar platform experience.


The Schedule

Friday–Tuesday
4:00 PM–1:00 AM
Off Wednesday & Thursday
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.

This position is 100% in person.
