This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for someone who enjoys being on camera, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a genuine passion for sports.

A strong knowledge of sports is required, and sports card experience highly preferred.

We'll teach you everything you need to know about sports cards, our products, and the breaking process. What we can't teach is personality, confidence, energy, and the ability to connect with an audience.

If you've ever been told you have great energy, enjoy entertaining others, or naturally become the center of the conversation, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Host live sports card breaks and collectible sales on Fanatics Live.
  • Entertain and engage with viewers while creating a fun, high-energy live experience.
  • Build relationships with collectors and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Open products live on camera while discussing players, teams, prospects, and current sports storylines.
  • Keep conversations flowing and maintain excitement throughout every stream.
  • Work independently while managing live interactions and stream flow.
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver engaging broadcasts and successful live events.
  • Represent the Waxxed Sports brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity.

Who Succeeds in This Role?

The best breakers are:

  • Naturally outgoing and confident.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of an audience and being on camera.
  • Excellent communicators who genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
  • Competitive, energetic, and quick on their feet.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Reliable, dependable, and professional.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of professional and collegiate sports.
  • Passion for sports and the ability to confidently discuss players, teams, prospects, and current sports news.
  • Comfortable performing live on camera.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt in a live environment.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Sports cards or collectibles
  • Live streaming or content creation
  • Sales
  • Customer service
  • Hospitality or bartending
  • Broadcasting or public speaking
  • Acting, performing, or entertainment
  • Coaching or competitive athletics
  • TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, or other on-camera platforms

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, in-person position.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Evening and weekend availability is required.
  • Must be available to work second and third shifts.
  • Must be willing to work from any of our locations in:
    • Plano
    • Dallas
    • Denton

Flexibility between locations is required.

Remote work is not available.

Compensation & Growth

  • Starting at $20+/hour, based on experience.
  • Paid training.
  • Opportunities for career growth as Waxxed Sports continues to expand.

Why Join Waxxed?

At Waxxed, our breakers do more than open packs. They create an experience that collectors look forward to every day.

We're building a team of energetic, competitive professionals who love sports, enjoy connecting with people, and aren't afraid to step in front of the camera. We believe personality, preparation, and passion create great breakers, and we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
