Interns typically analyze sports data, create reports, and contribute to performance evaluations or strategic planning using statistical tools and software. These internships provide hands-on experience in sports analytics without requiring relocation, making them accessible to a wider range of candidates. Responsibilities may include working with large datasets, generating insights, and assisting with research projects. They are ideal for individuals interested in sports, data analysis, and technology.

As a remote sports analytics intern, you can expect to work on projects such as data collection, cleaning, and analysis for various sports datasets. Typical tasks include using statistical software to identify trends, creating visualizations, and preparing reports to support coaching or management decisions. Many internships also involve collaborating with analysts and data scientists through virtual meetings, contributing to ongoing research, and presenting your findings to the team.
