• Conduct initial assessments through virtual interviews, gathering essential information to inform treatment planning.
• Evaluate the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices for diagnostics.
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, considering unique backgrounds and needs.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, fostering a supportive environment that encourages client participation.
• Monitor clients' progress regularly, revising treatment plans as needed to ensure alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care effectively.
• Provide follow-up consultations with healthcare providers for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.
• Work closely with families and primary caregivers, empowering them to understand and support their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. We take pride in serving a community that reflects a wide spectrum of backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to work with individuals from different cultures and socioeconomic statuses, tailoring your approaches to best fit their specific needs.

• A minimum of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
• Successful completion and passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated previous experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a remote setting.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain detailed and accurate client documentation.

• Experience dealing with co-occurring disorders, including physical and emotional health issues, as well as substance use dependencies.
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the pharmacological impacts of medications prescribed by healthcare providers on mental health.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a suitability for working in a remote mental health counseling context.

The position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000, complemented by a generous sign-on bonus.
