Job description

Senior Sourcing Manager, Americas (Footwear and Accessories)

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candor, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.

The Sourcing Manager, Americas will focus on sourcing footwear & leather goods in Western Hemisphere (Mexico, Dominican Republic, USA, among others), with an emphasis on nearshoring strategies for lead time reduction. This role is critical to optimizing Quince's supply chain by re-sourcing existing products with long lead times and high logistics costs, as well as identifying and launching new products from the Americas region to drive business growth. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for scouting potential suppliers, pitching them on Quince's business model, conducting cost analyses for key products, and onboarding suppliers into our fast-paced supply chain. Additionally, they will ensure supplier continuity, conduct periodic business reviews, and drive operational efficiencies.

The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Scouting and vetting potential suppliers in Western Hemisphere
  • Pitching Quince's business model to key manufacturing partners.
  • Conducting cost analyses for core products to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Onboarding and integrating suppliers into Quince's fast-paced supply chain.
  • Ensuring long-term supplier success, conducting periodic business reviews, and driving operational efficiencies.

This role is pivotal to Quince's continued growth and success. Enabling Americas Sourcing to its full potential will drive faster lead times, lower logistics costs, and greater alignment with our Made-to-Consumer (MTC) model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a category supply chain strategy, including multi-sourcing for the Footwear and Accessories segment (womens/mens/kids), across different product and material types.
  • Identify, vet, and onboard supplier partners, coaching them to operate within Quince's rapid replenishment, M2C (Made-to-Consumer) model.
  • Train suppliers on Quince OS, including operational efficiency (rapid lead times, consumer focus), financial modeling (high ROIC), and technical capabilities (Vendor Portal).
  • Product Expansion: Collaborate with Merchants and Product Development teams to introduce new styles and colors approved through our NPC process.
  • Drive Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure high-quality standards (<0.5% defect rate).
    • Optimize supply chain for speed and accuracy (Replenishment Lead Time < 14 days).
    • Maintain inventory availability (>99% in-stock).
    • Improve margin accretion through cost efficiencies and strategic sourcing.
  • Conduct Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews with supplier management, analyzing strategy, performance highlights, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing (focusing on footwear/accessories, leather goods), Procurement, or Supplier Management with major U.S.-based retailers.
  • Established factory partnerships within footwear and accessories across the Americas (Mexico, Central America, South America, DR) and/or Asia (including India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and China, where relevant to the scope of the category).
  • Passion for product development with a track record of leveraging vendor expertise to design, cost-engineer, and bring products to market.
  • Strong general management (GM) mindset, with experience in lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT) processes, and supply chain optimization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a strong focus on execution, problem-solving, and process improvement.
  • Natural connector who builds and maintains strong relationships between internal teams and supplier partners to drive collaboration and shared success.
  • Proactive and assertive, with the ability to self-manage in a remote/home-office setting while staying closely connected to the broader organization.
  • Excellent communicator, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Fluent Spanish

Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred.
