Work Environment

As a fully remote telehealth facility, our practice promotes a flexible working environment that prioritizes work-life balance. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth platforms, you'll engage with clients through video consultations, ensuring they receive timely mental health support without the barriers of travel. Our technology is designed to enhance communication and streamline documentation, allowing you to focus on care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will be expected to:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments remotely to evaluate patients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client.
• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy employing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups via telehealth, fostering community and reducing isolation for individuals facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and fellow therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients during emergencies, utilizing crisis management techniques and therapeutic support.
• Educate clients on mental health issues, treatment options, self-care strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and documentation.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical practices and share insights.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
• Proven ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop effective therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Sound judgment and adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who offer:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy with a diverse client base.
