Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Responsible for leading and developing a team of Internal Communications Business Partners who develop and execute communications campaigns for company departments, teams and high-profile initiatives. In addition to team leadership, the Manager I maintains a portfolio of select internal clients and projects, supporting communications strategy, planning and execution.

This role partners closely with the Senior Manager - Internal Communications, Senior Manager - External Communications and Manager I - Creative Services to align on priorities, contribute to best practices, budgets and support team metrics and processes.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Leads and manages a team of Internal Communications Business Partners: sets direction for work, supports execution of team goals, develops team members; and monitors performance; to ensure alignment with Blattner's culture.
  • Serves as the primary contact and partner for select departments, teams or enterprise initiatives, serving as an advisor on marketing and communications processes and best practices, strategy, planning, messaging and writing.
  • Provides communications event support for leadership summits, town halls, and other large-scale company events.
  • Explores and recommends innovative communication technologies and approaches to effectively reach and engage a remote and mobile workforce.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in marketing, communications or public relations, preferably within a large organization. Two or more years of experience leading teams.

$100,561.00 - $145,814.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
