These trainers may work for software companies, training firms, or as independent consultants, and they leverage video conferencing, screen sharing, and other digital tools to deliver their instruction.

What does a remote software trainer do?

A remote software trainer teaches employees of an organization on how to use a new or updated program using an online interface. In this role, you work from home to conduct training in a virtual classroom where you demonstrate the features of a software application to groups of varied sizes. Your duties also involve assessing the knowledge of the workforce to optimize the process and evaluating their progress. Other responsibilities focus on answering questions the staff has and making recommendations for additional content. Remote training offers myriad advantages for both employers and you as the trainer in flexibility and affordability.
