This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
As a Colors Platform Manager within the NA-Flavors team, you are empowered to bridge the gap between R&D, Operations, and Sales. You will be acting on behalf of both the business sponsor and ADM leadership with a high focus on day-to-day tactical actions for strategy execution. Your role involves managing and/or supporting cross-functional initiatives and projects that bring together experts from various business segments and corporate functions. You are accountable to ensure that each project is delivered to the agreed standards of quality, and within the defined cost, time, and expected benefits. In this role, through excellent problem-solving skills, risk management, value creation, cross functional partnerships and exceptional data governance and interpretation skills you are expected to focus on system scalability, backend efficiency, risk mitigation, translation of high-level goals into tactical tasks and direct/indirect management of all types of projects across the color business unit.
Platform Manager is responsible for driving a diverse portfolio of color business projects, as well as oversight and optimization of day-to-day processes through data driven conclusions. These include initiatives under the product portfolio and innovation pipeline, production capabilities, and day-to-day operations as well as other strategic initiatives such as critical process optimizations.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance programs and analytical dashboards for customer project pipeline analysis and operation workstreams
  • Identify gaps, improvement areas in everyday operations through statistical analysis of process, sales, product and ingredient data
  • Partner with color business leaders to align R&D, operation and commercial teams to reduce operational inefficiencies, drive process optimization projects, ensure performance monitoring and timely execution of project schedules and milestones
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with strategic objectives
  • Define and implement project governance structures, clarifying roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure delivery of project outputs to agreed standards of quality, cost, and time
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, including contingency planning
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and communication across business units and geographies
  • Track and report progress to senior leadership, highlighting milestones, risks, and decisions
  • Define and monitor KPIs to ensure proactive management and successful outcomes
  • Develop project charters, and where applicable manage projects across multiple ADM sites
Required Skills:
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement initiatives; exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus
  • Experience supporting or managing CapEx projects is advantageous
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, high-impact environments
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to tell stories with data to accelerate decision making process
  • Basic understanding of corporate strategy, financial modeling, and legal frameworks
  • Experience with change management and organizational design
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in scientific principles, statistics, business, project management, or related field;
  • Master's degree preferred
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management involving complex, cross-functional technical projects
  • Experience in technical data structuring, analysis and interpretation

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
