Genesis Grace Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time, remote position based in Boston, Massachusetts. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while serving clients in an outpatient setting. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of some scheduling flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. As a member of our remote team, you will leverage technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage caseloads efficiently.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that account for the cultural context of each patient to develop applicable treatment plans.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of each client.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a continuity of care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s wellbeing.
• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate interventions, providing support and stabilization as needed.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that support their journeys to recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, enabling effective follow-up and care continuity.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to further your professional development and our center’s collective expertise.
• Stay updated on the latest methodologies and best practices in mental health therapy, fostering lifelong learning and application in clinical practice.

Our primary focus is on providing mental health services tailored for clients from culturally diverse backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. By understanding the unique challenges these groups face, you will help empower our clients to achieve a sense of stability, resilience, and well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a commitment to employing evidence-based treatments within a culturally competent framework.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic interventions that reflect cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, displaying the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and standard office software applications.
• Adherence to ethical guidelines and a strong commitment to upholding patient confidentiality.
• A collaborative spirit to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly dealing with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated success in applying trauma-informed care practices.
• Background in community outreach or education within multicultural contexts.
