This role is fully remote, allowing our counselors to work from the comfort of their homes while staying connected with our support team. Some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary based on patient availability and need.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual client needs and develop actionable, personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide high-quality therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and address challenges such as coping strategies and shared experiences.
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Deliver crisis intervention services when needed, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can support their journey to recovery.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings regularly, contributing to a collaborative care environment.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research, therapy techniques, and best practices to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in Illinois.
• A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders as well as evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
• Proficient in digital communication tools and telehealth platforms to effectively conduct remote therapy sessions.

• A minimum of two years of direct therapeutic experience in a clinical setting.
• Prior experience in community health or outpatient therapy practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with health record management systems and telehealth software.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic techniques (e.g., trauma-informed care, dialectical behavior therapy, etc.) is a plus.
