  • Experience preparing landscape plans, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and federal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Environmental Planning, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting USACE, FEMA, National Park Service, DOT, or other federal infrastructure and recovery programs.

  • Experience supporting Design-Build projects and post-disaster recovery programs.
  • Project management experience supporting multidisciplinary planning, design, or restoration efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide landscape and site restoration design services supporting emergency response, disaster recovery, and infrastructure restoration projects.
  • Develop site plans, landscape restoration plans, grading concepts, planting plans, and construction documentation in accordance with project requirements and federal standards.
  • Conduct site assessments, field investigations, and feasibility evaluations to support restoration and recovery planning activities.
  • Prepare design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation supporting site rehabilitation efforts.
  • Coordinate with engineers, environmental specialists, planners, architects, contractors, and government representatives to develop integrated and sustainable site solutions.
  • Support erosion control, stormwater management, revegetation, habitat restoration, and environmental mitigation initiatives associated with recovery projects.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, accessibility requirements, land use criteria, and federal design standards.
  • Review contractor submittals, construction activities, and restoration work to verify compliance with approved design documents and project objectives.
  • Participate in field inspections, emergency response support activities, and post-disaster site evaluations as required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of sustainable design practices, ecological restoration methods, and resiliency planning principles applicable to federal recovery operations.

Skills:
