The CIO will be leading and growing the existing IT organization of 10+ FTEs plus contractors, and will and be actively participating in the architecture and deployment of their strategic IT programs. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in their sector; a half billion-dollar company with 1.3K employees looking to double in size over the next five years.

The Role

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will play a crucial role in leading the strategic planning and implementation of information technology systems and processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Must have 10+ years experience in the IT industry or data management -- ideally working in one of these industries: waste management, environmental services, manufacturing, or trucking/transportation. 
  • Must have 8+ years IT management/leadership experience 
  • Must have experience in strategizing and hands-on in architecting enterprise applications (ERP, CRM). Must also have good experience with IT infrastructure, security, and business transformation.
  • Must have good experience in supporting M&A due diligence, and handling post acquisition integration of people, processes, and IT systems/platforms. 
  • Must be on-site in South Florida (this is not a hybrid or remote role).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer or software engineering, or information systems; MBA or other master’s level degree is a plus
