Job Description

SOSi is seeking a Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Account Executive to support the company’s Business Development organization. This position enables the company’s growth objectives by leading pursuit of SOCOM-related acquisitions and interacting, creating, and maintaining relationships with customers within SOCOM and its subordinate commands. The executive prepares market strategies, identifies and helps create emerging opportunities, and develops capture plans in coordination with the company’s business units. This position may be located in Tampa, Florida or in proximity to other major hubs of Special Operations Forces (SOF activity, such as Fort Bragg, NC. This position will report to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain SOCOM customer relationships and maintain relationships with industry partners active in the SOCOM market.
  • Lead strategic account planning, prioritization, and SOCOM pipeline development. Identify new services and adjacent market opportunities based on customer requirements.
  • Establish and grow existing and new customer bases by strategically seeking out and creating opportunities and channels to market.
  • Develop win strategies, solutions, and lead capture for new business pursuits.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s service offerings and be able to represent their benefits and functionality to customers.
  • Participate in corporate trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop network of key partners to optimize win probabilities.
  • Align relationships, channels to market, pipeline, win strategies and capability development with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Qualifications
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Master’s Degree + 20 years’ of SOCOM or related experience.
  • Must possess the ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions, leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.
  • Exceptionally demonstrated verbal communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable but not required.
