In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to clients at our hospice center. • Provide psychotherapy to clients experiencing mental health issues specifically within the realm of substance abuse recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on identified challenges.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically tailored for those in substance abuse recovery.
• Document clinical notes in compliance with regulations to maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about available mental health resources and strategies for recovery.
• Stay informed on the latest research and incorporate emerging evidence-based practices into therapeutic approaches.
• Manage and maintain a robust caseload, consistently meeting treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards of practice.

The individuals you will serve are those navigating the complexities of substance abuse and related mental health issues. They may range from those requiring short-term interventions to clients in more complex and chronic situations. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, each with unique backgrounds and needs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their treatment and recovery plans. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience focusing on substance abuse treatment and therapy.
• Proficient understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based interventions relevant to mental health and substance abuse.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with treatment teams and support clients.

Experience in a hospice or end-of-life care setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with advanced therapy methods and technology solutions that enhance client engagement and care provision will be advantageous in this role. Continued education in the field of substance abuse and mental health will position candidates for greater success and fulfillment within our organization.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
