Bright Path Social Work is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a full-time remote position at our Detox Center located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing emotional and social support to clients undergoing detoxification. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the psychosocial needs of our clients, developing tailored care plans, and facilitating access to essential services in a supportive, remote environment.

This position offers a unique remote work setting that allows you to interact with clients and families through virtual platforms. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring comprehensive support for client needs. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' psychosocial needs within the detox process, assessing emotional, mental, and social factors that may impact recovery.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, incorporating their unique goals, preferences, and needs.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients, guiding them through the challenges associated with detoxification and recovery.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they are aware of and can access vital community resources and support services.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals including nurses, healthcare providers, and community service agencies to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
• Monitor ongoing client progress through regular check-ins and virtual visits, adjusting care plans as necessary based on their evolving health and circumstances.
• Facilitate communication among family members regarding the client's care, addressing any conflicts or concerns that arise.
• Educate clients and families on community resources, support groups, and wellness programs to foster independence and enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain precise documentation of client assessments, interactions, and care plans in accordance with our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Stay informed about best practices in social work, especially in the context of substance use recovery, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and relevant regulations.

The primary focus of this role is on adults undergoing detoxification from substances. Clients may present with a variety of co-occurring mental health issues. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in addressing their complex emotional and psychological challenges while promoting coping strategies and resilience throughout their recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in social work, ideally within a substance use or mental health setting.
• In-depth knowledge of social work principles, best practices, and available community resources related to addiction recovery.
• Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and convey empathy towards clients and their families.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital communication platforms.

• Experience working in a remote social work capacity or telehealth environment.
• Familiarity with treatment protocols specific to detoxification and substance abuse.
• History of collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams in a mental health or addiction treatment context.
