As an LCSW within our center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health and addiction issues, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to best suit each client’s unique needs and preferences.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and care continuity.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow social workers on treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless care integration.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights and experiences, elevating the overall quality of care provided.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Staying informed on current research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment, integrating this knowledge into your practice.

You will work primarily with adult patients undergoing detoxification from substances such as alcohol, prescription medications, and illicit drugs, alongside those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Your experience will provide crucial support during their transitional phases, helping them to navigate the challenging path towards recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, focusing primarily on providing psychotherapy services to individuals facing challenges in mental health and addiction.
• Proficient knowledge in solution-based interventions and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
