Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is seeking an Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales (Remote in EST & CST) at Pitney Bowes.

The non-negotiable compensation for this role is $21.88 per hour or equal to your current hourly, plus $25,000 OTI uncapped commission according to individual performance, paid out monthly. The Total Target Compensation, at 100% goal achievement, is calculated to be $70,000 annual.

This is a remote Inside Sales position open to qualified candidates living in the United States.

Candidates located in the PST and MST areas are not eligible for consideration for this job. You must reside in the EST and CST areas to be eligible for consideration for this job.

As a Competitive Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales for Pitney Bowes, you will assess and prioritize the account according to sales urgency and shipping opportunity. You will be responsible for uncovering solutions opportunities.

You are: 

  • Dedicated. Someone who is dependable and consistent in their pursuit to win clients from competition. 
  • Resilient. Somone who is skilled in handling rejection and motivated by the hunt for new business. 
  • Good listener. Able to listen carefully to what is being said. You listen for indirect information about the business and their experience with competition that may lead to a Pitney Bowes win. 
  • Critical thinker. Skilled in calling competitors clients, gathering company information, and assessing the account and uncovering the right Pitney Bowes solution to secure the win. 
  • Independent. Even though manager support is always available, must be able to make decisions and function more independently than an employee would in an office setting. Must be able to solve problems independently and learn through ambiguity. 
  • Empathetic and efficient. In addition to a thorough evaluation, listening and understanding is of the most essential qualities we need to ensure we earn trust to sell a Pitney Bowes solution. 

You will:  

  • Develop new client relationships. 
  • Manage variable lead generation with speed. 
  • Manage lead queue, new client accounts, and pipeline. 
  • Work competitive leads. 
  • Sell shipping and solutions. 
  • Work to transact leads to sales. 

Your background: As a Competitive Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales, you must have: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales 
  • Continuous track record of 90%+ quota attainment in previous roles within Pitney Bowes 
  • Experience with competitive selling, selling our products or services, sales in a telephone sales environment. 
  • Strong experience in information technology, software or financial products, and renewal sales 
  • Experience in practical application of operational performance metrics 
  • Experience working in a cross-function matrix organization. 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com account management platform 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience with change  
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Excel 
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Experience using Salesforce.
