Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and facilitate the admission process for new patients, displaying professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
• Begin discharge planning on the day of admission, ensuring that patients understand their coping strategies, transition plans, and available resources before discharge.
• Provide crisis management during sessions and in the treatment milieu, collaborating with milieu staff to guarantee the highest clinical quality.
• Document clinical interactions in a timely manner, ensuring all required documentation is completed at the time of service.
• Engage in collaborative treatment team meetings, contributing to the development of weekly treatment goals and providing support to the clinical team as needed.
• Handle utilization reviews by communicating with insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations for patient care.
• Be accessible to family members and loved ones, responding to calls and emails promptly to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding patient authorizations and payment processes.
• Facilitate ongoing outreach and program tours, showcasing our services to potential clients and the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges. Our patients benefit from your experience in assessing suicidality, creating a supportive environment, and implementing personalized treatment plans. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a culture of understanding among patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (such as MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• An independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
• Excellent electronic communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, their families, and the clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing a substantial caseload and interfacing with medical providers and support teams.
• A proven track record of commitment to improving lives through effective behavioral health strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems for efficient documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 50,000 and USD 70,000. We also offer an extensive benefits package, including:
