Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that may incorporate techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through evidence-based practices designed to address dependencies, enhance coping skills, and promote positive behavioral changes.
  • Set realistic and achievable treatment goals for clients, always adhering to ethical standards and legal protocols in mental health care.
  • Maintain meticulous record-keeping by documenting client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director in performing chart audits, reviewing treatment documentation, and signing off on clinical notes to ensure the highest quality care.
  • Foster professional relationships by engaging with clients, team members, and outreach stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive treatment environment.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals facing mental health challenges, as well as co-occurring addiction, in a school-based setting. Qualifications
  • To qualify for this role, you must hold a Masterโ€™s degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • An active and valid License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is required.
  • You should possess at least 2-3 years of relevant experience working within Substance Use or Mental Health Centers, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
