Work Environment

This role is designed to allow you to thrive in a fully remote setting, supporting your ability to create a comfortable and personal work environment. You will engage with clients through our intuitive, easy-to-use telehealth platform, allowing for seamless video counseling sessions. As a member of a supportive and collaborative team, you will communicate regularly with colleagues, engage in supervision as needed, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling via video chat, maintaining a focus on client privacy and comfort.
• Utilize solution-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique needs to facilitate meaningful individual treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Assist clients in gaining insights into their thoughts, feelings, and relationships, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment and help design healthy coping mechanisms, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies, emphasizing accuracy and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Forte Well-Being, you will primarily work with stable, low acuity adult clients facing a wide range of mental health needs. Our clients seek assistance in addressing issues such as mild anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and stress management. The goal of our services is to equip individuals with the skills and strategies necessary to enhance their quality of life, and this role is crucial in fostering that transformation.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current full licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is essential. Acceptable licenses include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature, coupled with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong computer literacy skills, with the capability to effectively navigate digital platforms and telehealth tools.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with prior experience working in a remote counseling environment or exposure to outpatient mental health settings will have a competitive edge. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will also enhance your ability to connect with and support our diverse client population.

• Attractive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
