• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions through video conferencing, ensuring a safe and welcoming virtual environment for clients.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities to develop personalized treatment plans that adequately address a client’s unique needs.
• Engage in active listening to help clients gain insights into their emotions, thoughts, and interpersonal relationships.
• Track client progress throughout therapy, adapting strategies as necessary to help clients develop effective coping mechanisms and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals in our organization, sharing insights and best practices to enhance overall care delivery.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor within our community health clinic, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults presenting a variety of mental health concerns. Your role will involve providing tailored support to individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your efforts will contribute significantly to improving their mental wellness and fostering resilience, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• You must hold one of the following active licenses to practice independently: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Applicants must not hold a limited or provisional license and should have no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care are essential.
• Proficiency in computer skills to effectively utilize our telehealth platform and manage client data.

• Prior experience in a remote counseling role is an advantage, especially in a community health setting.
• Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of various cultural perspectives in mental health care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is beneficial.

Inner Calm Mental Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 per year, depending on experience and working hours. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus for new hires, ensuring you feel valued from day one. Our full-time counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being, along with the convenience of weekly direct deposit payments.
