The role of Mental Health Counselor at Lyra is conducted entirely remote, promoting a flexible work-life balance. You will conduct therapy sessions via video chat, allowing you to engage with clients in a comfortable setting. Our telehealth environment means minimal paperwork and administrative burdens, so you can focus solely on providing outstanding care. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via video chat, striving to improve their mental health and overall well-being.

• Guide clients in exploring their emotions and experiences, helping them cultivate self-awareness and foster healthier relationships.

• Act as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in setting personal goals and navigating their therapeutic journey.

• Assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans that utilize your clinical expertise and evidence-based modalities.

• Maintain an all-in-one counselor dashboard to manage client interactions, treatment notes, and session schedules efficiently.

• Collaborate with our onboarding team to ensure a quick integration into our platform, enabling you to see clients in as little as 1-3 days.

Your clientele will encompass stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns, ensuring a supportive environment that enables effective treatment planning. We pre-screen clients so you can focus on delivering tailored interventions without the challenges posed by severe mental health cases. Additionally, you will be paired with clients whose needs align with your specialties and demographic preferences.

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of Georgia as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: We do not accept limited or provisional licenses, nor candidates with disciplinary actions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding toward clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth services and client management.

Experience in telehealth counseling is preferred, although all seasoned mental health professionals seeking to transition to a remote model are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches will enhance your ability to connect with our diverse client base effectively.
