They may model shoes from their own home or another remote setting, providing photos, videos, or participating in virtual fittings. This role often requires models to have high-quality camera equipment and the ability to follow specific posing and lighting instructions. Remote shoe modeling is popular for e-commerce sites, social media promotions, and virtual fashion shows. It allows brands to access a diverse range of models from different locations while saving on travel costs.

What does a remote shoe model do?

Remote shoe modeling assignments usually require models to receive sample products at home and follow detailed guidelines for photographing or showcasing the shoes. Communication is often conducted through video calls or emails, where brands and photographers provide direction on poses, lighting, and shot angles. Models may need to set up a home studio or use specific backgrounds to meet brand standards.
