Job description

Job Title: HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent
Location: Baltimore, MD area
Position Type: Full-Time

Skillforce has partnered with one of the leading sheet metal contractors in the DMV area to find a HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead complex commercial projects. This is a long-term, direct hire position.

HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent Duties:

  • Lead the installation activities of sheet metal / HVAC onsite at commercial projects

  • Coordinate with foremen and crews to plan daily and weekly work

  • Be the primary liaison, mechanical trades, electrical, and controls to plan work

  • Compare manpower and productivity against the schedule

  • Ensure safety and quality requirements are being met

  • Address punch list items and participate in inspections

  • Communicate clearly with the Project Manager any issues that arise in the field

  • Utilize Procore or similar mobile software

HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in HVAC/ sheet metal construction

  • Experience as a Sheet Metal Superintendent, General Foreman, or Lead Foreman

  • Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, sequencing and ductwork

  • Ability to follow project schedules and read drawings

  • Understanding of SMACNA requirements

  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
