• Provide focused and empathetic counseling, psychotherapy, case management, and treatment services to a diverse clientele, ensuring each interaction meets the individuals’ specific needs and circumstances.
• Develop personalized treatment plans by assessing clients' needs, goals, and progress, incorporating evidence-based methodologies to maximize effectiveness.
• Advocate for clients in a school setting, connecting them with essential resources such as financial aid, housing assistance, and community services that support holistic well-being.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, including suicidal ideation, substance abuse, or severe trauma, using best practices to navigate these sensitive situations.
• Participate actively in educational outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma within the school community and beyond.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential case records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and high ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship programs to enhance both clinical skills and personal growth.

In this role, you will primarily serve the student population within school settings, providing critical psychological support to young individuals facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Your compassionate approach will guide students and their families through complex dynamics, ensuring that each client receives tailored treatment that respects their individual backgrounds and unique experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey LCSW license with the capability for independent practice.
• Exceptional empathy and a client-centered approach to care, with a firm understanding of cultural competence in addressing diverse needs.
• At least 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families, demonstrating proven therapeutic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective teamwork and building rapport in remote settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency that allows for clear documentation and effective client interaction.

• Experience working in educational settings or with adolescent populations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools to enhance remote service delivery.
