Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored psychotherapy to individuals grappling with mental health concerns intertwined with substance abuse treatment.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to develop comprehensive and effective treatment plans employing solution-focused methodologies.
• Utilize various therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically adapted for those in recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies while documenting all patient interactions and progress.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure all aspects of patient care are aligned and to facilitate seamless support.
• Educate patients and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources to foster understanding and enhance healing.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge by engaging with the latest research and integrating findings into therapeutic practices.
• Manage a robust caseload effectively, aligning treatment goals with client progress while adhering to ethical standards set forth in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our compassionate environment, you will provide support to a diverse range of patients, including adults of varying ages and socio-economic backgrounds, many of whom are facing concurrent mental health issues alongside substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts is essential.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly with an emphasis on substance abuse therapy, is required.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and their application in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
