• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and assessments to create tailored treatment plans for your clients.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities suited to the unique needs of your patients.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and treatment planning meetings to enhance patient outcomes collaboratively.
• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers and other institutional programs for effective discharge planning and follow-up care.
• May supervise social work interns or student volunteers as assigned, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
• Develop and lead therapeutic groups on mental health observation units, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Contribute to statistical and outcome reporting to track service effectiveness and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your approach will involve understanding their unique circumstances and delivering therapies that meet their specific needs, ultimately fostering resilience and wellbeing. A commitment to empathy and cultural competence is crucial for effective engagement with our clients.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Strong clinical skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients and create trustful therapeutic relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in the mental health field.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health or therapeutic setting.
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Prior experience in an outpatient treatment environment and a clear understanding of the challenges faced by clients in crisis.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
