• Conduct comprehensive virtual mental health evaluations and risk assessments using secure telehealth platforms to identify clients' needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the individual needs and goals of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in a remote setting while addressing varied mental health challenges.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to patients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate support and safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and social workers, to enable integrated and coordinated care for clients.
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and resources available through telehealth.
• Adhere to all applicable HIPAA regulations and telehealth policies to maintain patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities and virtual team discussions aimed at improving service delivery and client care.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Healious Psychiatry, you will primarily work with adults seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Your role is crucial in empowering clients, particularly within underrepresented groups, to access mental health resources and achieve meaningful progress toward their personal goals.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the State of Missouri.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or medical setting.
• Proficient in treatment planning, case management, and maintaining detailed client records.
• Possession of an individual NPI number, reliable internet access, and the ability to maintain communication with clients via phone.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and commitment to patient-centered care.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, those with previous telehealth counseling experience or specialized expertise in trauma-informed care or geriatric populations will find themselves particularly well-suited for this role.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
