This role is designed to be remote, with responsibilities primarily conducted in the client’s home environments or within school settings. • Engage individually with clients, managing a caseload that includes assessments, and providing therapy through individual, group, and family sessions to address major mental health issues and severe emotional disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to further team objectives, ensuring a collective approach towards overcoming client challenges and promoting better outcomes.
• Implement and contribute to integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services, ensuring communication flows smoothly between clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Conduct evidence-based screenings and assessments, determining the needs of clients and whether additional mental health evaluations are warranted.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed, employing appropriate de-escalation techniques and coping strategies to assist clients in distress.
• Monitor and track client progress, ensuring that treatment plans are regularly updated and aligned with both the clients' needs and agency goals.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and professional practices, safeguarding client confidentiality and promoting an ethical workplace.
• Partake in quality improvement initiatives, actively participating in committees and collaborative efforts to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on students and young individuals who exhibit symptoms of mental illness or emotional disorders, navigating their challenges in a school setting. By working closely with these clients, you will play an instrumental role in helping them develop resilience and coping mechanisms, paving the way for improved academic performance and overall emotional health.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or in a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management for the populations served.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required for effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Organizational and planning skills that enable the management of caseloads while meeting deadlines.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, with a background in school-based mental health considered an asset.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desirable and will benefit communication with diverse clientele.
