Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments to evaluate the needs of new patients and their families, ensuring an understanding of their unique backgrounds and experiences.
  • Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions, implementing strategies that address identified psychological and emotional needs.
  • Prepare thorough documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, within specified time frames to ensure effective administrative processes.
  • Design and implement crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and general wellness plans to support clients in achieving stable functioning.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate successful transitions and continued support for clients after their therapy journey.
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to uphold the highest ethical standards.
  • Continuously improve professional competence through ongoing training, education, and participation in case consultations and agency meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date licensure and engage in mandatory training to stay informed of best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily focus on working with a diverse range of individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges. This may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
  • Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Oregon, demonstrating your qualifications to provide therapeutic services.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient settings providing therapy services to a diverse clientele.
