Team Lead - Energy ConsultantThe Opportunity

You will combine technical depth with leadership and commercial acumen to help customers navigate system planning, grid modernization, and the integration of sustainable energy solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop consultants while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities by building strong customer and internal networks
  • Deliver highimpact advisory projects for key players in the electricity sector
  • Drive innovation by proposing and shaping R&D initiatives with clear scope, budget, and outcomes
  • Support contract negotiation, proposal development, and advanced stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure delivery in line with contractual commitments
  • Manage complex projects endtoend, including scope, timeline, resources, and client satisfaction
  • Support the contract lifecycle, including followup on new solutions and services

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
  • Over 3 years of experience as a people leader, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and resource planning
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power or energy systems
  • 11+ years (Bachelor's), 9+ years (Master's), or 7+ years (PhD) of experience in power system studies or research
  • Experience providing advisory services, building customer relationships, and developing winning proposals
  • Proven experience delivering highquality consulting projects; multidisciplinary project experience is an asset
  • Strong expertise in power system tools (e.g., PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD) and development tools such as Python, with excellent communication skills
