JOB SUMMARY:
Provides advanced technical and reporting expertise, owning significant portions of SEC filings and acting as a key liaison during audits and reviews.
Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
SEC & Financial Reporting Analyst III
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; and
  • Four years of related SEC reporting or public company accounting experience.

SEC & Financial Reporting Analyst IV
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; and
  • Six years of progressive SEC reporting or public company accounting experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the analysis and reporting of financial transactions and statistics for Everus Construction Group, Inc. and its segments.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual Everus Construction Group financial statements and reports for the Board of Directors, management, stockholders, and the SEC.
  • Conducts research, analysis, and evaluation of existing and/or proposed accounting principles, procedures and disclosures and recommends and/or implements the procedures to ensure proper financial reporting and compliance.
  • Maintains a current working knowledge of applicable accounting requirements and financial statement requirements, disclosures, and preparation methods.
  • Prepares monthly and/or annual financial statements and analyses related to Everus Construction Group, its segments, and benefit plans (i.e. health, life, retirement plans, etc.)
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements enhancements to existing accounting systems or the development of new systems.
  • Responsible for the preparation of data request responses, and various management analyses.
  • Advises and assists other department staff.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as other required SEC filings.
  • Familiar with U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure rules, checklists and filing timelines.
  • Informed of U.S. GAAP, with the ability to apply accounting guidance to financial reporting and disclosure matters and support compliance with evolving standards.
  • Understands Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, including documentation, testing coordination, deficiency tracking, and remediation support related to financial reporting controls.
  • Ability to work effectively with external auditors and internal departments (Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and Investor Relations) to support reporting, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills and a high degree of independent judgment and ingenuity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting methods and procedures and applicable financial statement preparation methods and requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate financial data.
  • Excellent human relations skills in dealing with associates, other departments, operating company personnel, external auditors, attorneys, and consultants.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks within tight deadlines and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Work at an advanced level with minimal supervision or specific instruction.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
