We're seeking a creative, SEO-savvy, and digitally fluent Content Writer to join our Marketing team. This role is primarily focused on long-form editorial content that drives brand authority, thought leadership, and organic traffic. As the core content engine for the team, you will spend approximately 70% of your time creating in-depth articles, case studies, and guides specifically for a B2B audience in the digital marketing space.

You will be instrumental in translating complex industry insights into clear, actionable, and authoritative content, working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract proprietary knowledge. While we embrace the use of AI and LLMs to streamline research and drafting, the final product must be high-quality, original, and require a human expert's strategic oversight and refinement. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and SEO best practices to ensure our content not only informs but performs.

Job Summary

Your focus will be heavily weighted toward research and long-form creation, with supplemental time dedicated to promotional short-form copy.

Long-Form Editorial Content & Strategy (70% — 14 hrs/week)

• Strategic Content Development: Research and write in-depth blogs, reports, and comprehensive guides on digital marketing, ecommerce, and media trends. All content should adhere to SEO best practices, targeting specific keywords and aligning with user intent.
• Expert Sourcing & Collaboration: Coordinate and conduct interviews with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather unique insights and proprietary data required to create industry-leading content.
• Case Studies: Produce detailed, data-driven client case studies that effectively articulate success stories, methodologies, and Tinuiti's value proposition to potential B2B clients.
• AI Integration: Leverage generative AI tools and LLMs to accelerate content research, ideation, and drafting, while maintaining accountability for the originality, factual accuracy, and high quality of the final human-edited work.
• Web Copy & UX: Write and refresh key web pages, ensuring copy is clear, optimized for conversion, and aligns with SEO strategy.

Short-Form Copy & Content Repurposing (20% — 4 hrs/week)

• Repurposing Copy: Write concise, engaging scripts for videos (e.g., promotional clips based on a research report) and promotional copy for social carousels or infographics to maximize the reach of core long-form assets.
• Distribution Assets: Craft attention-grabbing copy for landing pages and social posts to drive traffic and leads to long-form content.
• Brand Voice & Editing: Assist the team by reviewing and editing drafted assets to ensure brand consistency, clarity, and grammatical excellence across all marketing materials.

• Project Management: Use our project management system (Wrike) to manage assigned tasks, track progress on long-form projects, and provide timely status updates.
• Meetings: Attend necessary team and project meetings to align content creation efforts with broader marketing and company priorities.
• Relationship Building: Collaborate with marketing team members to generate new ideas, participate in brainstorms, ask questions, and build successful working relationships

Who You Are

• A seasoned writer with a proven ability to handle complex, technical topics and transform them into clear, compelling B2B narratives.
• You don't just write; you write to rank, possessing a working knowledge of keyword research, content structures, and on-page optimization.
• A proactive coordinator comfortable reaching out to and interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract valuable insights.
• Comfortable integrating generative AI/LLMs into your daily workflow, viewing them as tools to increase efficiency while ensuring all final content meets high standards for originality and human expertise.
• Highly organized, excellent at time management, and able to manage a pipeline of long-form projects with demanding deadlines.
• Well-versed in the digital marketing landscape, including paid media, performance marketing, and ecommerce.

Minimum Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a content writer, content strategist, or editorial specialist, focused on creating long-form marketing assets.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates success in writing in-depth, analytical, or research-based B2B content (blogs, whitepapers, guides, reports).
• Proven track record of writing content that demonstrably drives performance metrics (e.g., organic traffic growth, engagement, or lead generation).
• Experience in B2B marketing or the advertising/ecommerce industry is a strong plus.
• Confident conducting research, interviewing subject matter experts, and creating in-depth content on technical subject.
