Job description

This is a freelance, project based role (approx 10 hours a week), remote-friendly role, for a Digital Ad Editor at CAKES Body. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and editing our digital advertising content across paid social, organic social, landing pages, and short-form video. You'll work closely with our founders, creative team, and performance marketing team to turn raw creative concepts and product insights into high-converting, scroll-stopping ads.

You will ensure that everything we publish is aligned with CAKES' voice: bold, clear, playful, and grounded in real customer truths. Your responsibilities include refining scripts, editing ad copy, managing the ad content pipeline, optimizing creative for performance, and maintaining a cohesive brand tone across channels. You'll play a key role in helping CAKES scale efficiently by elevating the quality and consistency of our creative engine.

Qualifications Strong editorial instincts and writing skills, with the ability to translate raw ideas into tight, compelling, high-performing ad creative Experience in content strategy and content management, ideally in a fast-paced DTC or social-first environment Deep understanding of short-form video, paid social trends, and how to structure content for thumb-stopping performance Familiarity with Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital advertising platforms (performance marketing experience is a bonus) Ability to work quickly, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high standards of organization Collaborative, clear communicator comfortable working closely with founders and creatives Detail-oriented and passionate about storytelling and digital culture Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
